About

My Story & my Why

I always knew I wanted to help people and my first love for nutrition came my junior year of high school after I got diagnosed with SIBO (Small Intestinal bacteria Overgrowth). This was the year of 2020 and there was little to no information out on SIBO, its affects on the body, and how to cure it.

I have always struggled with digestive issues even starting when I was 2 years old. The prescription of course was MiraLAX, which then caused the issue of my digestive system not knowing how to work for itself making my issues worse. I tried a pediatric GI specialist, regular GI specialist, GI physical therapy, my primary doctor, etc.

To put it simply, I did everything I thought I could, but I was starting to feel hopeless. I then got referred to a natural medicine doctor and she changed my life. She was actually able to listen to me and she believed that there was something wrong. She did some tests and a couple weeks later it came back that I had SIBO. We did an antibiotics round and herbs and I went on the low-fod map diet. I was then introduced to the world of whole-foods eating. I was feeling better had more energy than I thought was possible, acne was getting better along with my GI symtpoms.

I’m still on my journey to fully heal my gut, but the knowledge and resources I’ve gained along the way have been incredibly valuable and have made a real difference for me. My passion has always been to help others, I feel my expericnes give me more insight to help and relate to those im working with on their own healing journeys—whether it’s healing their bodies, gut, or their relationship with food as a whole.
